About Regent University
Regent University was founded in 1977 by Pat Robertson. It was named Christian Broadcasting Network University. In 1990, the school changed its name to Regent University. The school offers traditional, on-campus programs, as well as distance education options. There are eight academic schools housed in the university, which grants:- associate degrees

Institutional accreditation for Regent University comes from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The accreditation necessary to award doctorate, master’s, baccalaureate, and associate degrees. Schools, departments, and programs in the university are also accredited by organizations like the American Bar Association. It has approved the degrees offered by the School of Law through its Council of the Section of Legal Accreditation and Admissions to the Bar. Several programs in the School of Psychology & Counseling are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs. It’s part of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition rates for students attending classes at Regent University vary. The rate depends on the program and level. For example, undergraduate degrees earned in the College of Arts & Sciences begin at $8,490 per semester for full-time students on campus. It’s $595 per credit for on-campus classes. As another example, the tuition rate for the Master of Science in Cosmogony is $550 per credit hour. Students take an average of six credits each semester. With 30 total credits required, students can expect to pay $16,500 for the overall program. The Master of Science in Cybersecurity, on the other hand, costs $650 per credit with the overall program costing $19,500 in all for 30 total credits. The university also charges a flat fee of $550 per semester or $700 per semester in various fees. Online students will pay the $550 rate. On-campus students will pay the $700 rate.
