About City Vision University
City Vision University is a private university affiliated with Tech Mission. This is a nonprofit organization that opened in 2000. It brings technology to those in impoverished areas. Grace University worked with the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM) in 1990 to establish a degree program in urban ministry. This program was such a success that AGRM opened a private college in 1998 called Rescue College. The college was unique in it did not have a physical campus and offered only distance education courses. Tech Mission took control of the college in 2008 and changed its name to City Vision College. It eventually led to the college becoming City Vision University or CVU. Under the guidance of the organization, the university added a new program that included a one-year internship for students. Those who qualify for the internship receive funding from the organization. It covers the cost of their tuition and living expenses.City Vision University Accreditation Details

Tuition and Financial Aid
At City Vision, undergrads pay $750 per credit hour, which comes to $7,500 for full-time enrollment. Graduate students enrolled in the university pay $8,000 or $800 per credit hour. This makes City Vision University one of the most affordable Christian colleges. Financial aid is important for any student who cannot afford the cost of college today. This is why the university encourages students to submit the FAFSA as soon as possible after it opens at the beginning of October. This is how they can get the money that they don’t need pay back. These include grants and scholarships. The university has scholarships for students based on both their overall need merit. Students can also qualify for federal work-study and work while in college or use loans. Nearly 80% of the university’s undergrads qualify for a Pell grant. It also accepts the GI Bill and similar benefits for veterans and those enlisted in the military. The government has loans available for the parents of college students, too. Students who work for the Salvation Army, rescue missions and any branch of the military get a 15% discount. City Vision University allows students in all degree programs to use discounts with the financial aid that they get.Related Resources:
