About Arkansas Tech University
Arkansas Tech University is a public school with a campus in Russellville, Arkansas. It was established in 1909.It offers bachelor’s degree and master’s degree programs. The university introduced its first doctoral program in 2015. The rural campus covers 516 acres. There’s also a satellite location called the Ozark Campus where students can pursue two-year degrees. The school was first known as the Second District Agricultural School. The name eventually changed to Arkansas Polytechnic College. The university’s official colors are gold and green. Students who play on sports at the university do so as the Wonder Boys for the men’s teams and as the Golden Suns for the women’s teams.Arkansas Tech University Accreditation Details

Arkansas Tech University Application Requirements
All students who want to enroll at Arkansas Tech University must submit the application for admission. They also must submit their college entrance exam scores and other requirements as listed by the student’s preferred program. To gain admission, students should have an ACT composite score of 19 or above, or a composite SAT score of at least 990. The minimum GPA for first-year students is 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students who have a GED must have a minimum GED score of 580. The university accepts credits for transfer purposes from students who have participated in dual enrollment programs and Advanced Placement classes. To qualify for graduate school, students should:- have a bachelor’s degree
- a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- meet all additional admissions requirements of their chosen program.
