The School of Business focuses on providing students with the skills necessary to understand ethical grounding, communication, and analytical thought processes. The College of Health Sciences offers associate’s degrees in radiologic technology and an occupational therapy assistant program. Undergraduate programs include a B.S. in Exercise Science and a B.S. in Health Promotion.

About the University of Charleston

The University of Charleston started as a small Seminary school on September 12th, 1888. When UC first opened its doors it enrolled 25 students. The university saw hardship throughout the Great Depression but came out fully accredited during the late 1930s. About a decade later over 1,500 students were enrolled. However, the start of World War II put a halt to the university’s growth. What was originally known as Morris Harvey College became the University of Charleston in December of 1978. UC introduced the doctoral program and the School of Pharmacy in the early 2000s. By 2008 The Graduate School of Business and Leadership was established. In 2013 the physician’s assistant program saw its first cohort. The University of Charleston’s mission is to prepare students for their career lives through engagement and community involvement. University of Charleston Application Requirements

Undergraduate students can submit an application online or via print. Prospective students must provide:

Certain programs at the graduate level have their own admissions requirements. In general, graduate students must have:

Tuition and Financial Aid

Undergraduate students who choose to live on campus will pay a tuition of $39,910. This price includes room and board. Total tuition with fees, the price of books, transportation, and miscellaneous costs will be $45,310. The price for each residence hall varies, visit the admissions page for a full list of housing options. Students who live off-campus will pay $30,400.With the cost of fees, books and miscellaneous costs tuition will be $35,600. Students who opt to take their courses online can expect to pay $380 per credit hour. Graduate students seeking an MBA can expect tuition of $25,000 with a fee of $3,400. Those pursuing an M.S. in Strategic Leadership will pay a tuition of $425 per credit hour. Graduate students participating in virtual programs can expect tuition based on a per credit hour basis as well:
