About Jacksonville State University
Jacksonville State University was founded in 1883 as Jacksonville State Normal School. The university offers many bachelor’s and master’s programs. It began offering doctorates in 2011 with the Doctor of Science in Emergency Management program. Around 8,500 students attend the university, which recently celebrated its 125th anniversary. The school’s official colors are red and white. The sports teams play as the Gamecocks. Admission to Jacksonville State University as a first-year student requires that applicants:- complete the official application

Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition at Jacksonville State University for undergraduate in-state students is $324 per credit hour. Out-of-state students pay $648 per credit hour. Graduate students pay $382 per credit hour if they’re from Alabama or $764 per credit hour if they’re from out-of-state. Students who want to qualify for residency must live in Alabama for at least a year before attending school to receive the in-state rate. Doctoral students pay:- $371 per credit hour if they’re from Alabama
