University of Central Missouri Application Requirements
Students applying to the University of Central Missouri as first-time freshmen should do so in their senior year, if possible. They should complete the online application form and submit it along with the non-refundable $30 application fee to the university. They must arrange for their high schools to send their official transcripts and for the agency which administered the SAT or the ACT to send those official scores to the University of Central Missouri. Students applying as graduates apply online as well. There is a non-refundable application fee of $30 which must be paid at the time of application. They must arrange for the university to receive the official transcript of all undergraduate work they completed. After being accepted to the university, graduate applications will be forwarded to the departments which house the degree programs desired. Those departments may have additional requirements.Tuition and Financial Aid
Undergraduate tuition at he University of Central Missouri is figured per-credit-hour. That figure for traditional undergraduate programs is $225.65 plus fees. Graduate tuition is $298.50 plus fees. Business Department graduate degrees are $463.90 per-credit-hour. Online courses are $278.15 for undergraduates and $348.50 for graduate courses. Certificates are $398.50 plus fees. Other expenses are housing and meal plans, insurance, books and supplies, and miscellaneous expenses. Earning a degree is expensive. Most students need assistance to meet their financial obligations. The first step in getting this help is completing the FAFSA form. After receiving their awards letter from the federal program, students will know how much more money they will need. Missouri has several programs including MoCents for graduate students, Access Missouri and Bright Flight which is a merit-based program. There are also scholarships such as Aging Matters for students who want careers in senior care and a grant to students in construction management. There are scholarships funded by Branson Shows, and the Elks Club as well. The University of Central Missouri has a scholarship that allows students to apply for several scholarships simultaneously. The school has a Red and Black Scholarship in the amounts of $5,000, $2,500 and $1,500, and other school grants and scholarships by department or by activities. Students who find they do not have enough scholarship money to meet their full school bills may:- take out student loans
